Mentors Not Tutors
A tutor has gained a personal training and teaching qualification. This does NOT mean this individual has EVER PT'd themselves, run a successful PT business, or has the knowledge, skills or experience to pass on to learners.
The Mentors at YOUR Academy will offer you advice based on years of experience, knowledge and hands on application. They’ll teach you how to work with clients effectively and drive a successful PT business - not just teach you how to tick a box!
Face To Face Contact Days
The majority of training providers have taken their education timetable online, spouting the benefits of learning and completing all assessments from home. This can result in someone getting PT qualified who hasn't even set foot in a gym, or interacted with anyone other than family or friends! Let’s be clear here, this will NOT prepare you for the demands of running a successful PT business.
We offer interactive, immersive, full-day face-to-face learning experiences, to help you develop the practical skills necessary to be a quality PT.
Regular Catch Up Calls
You will not just be left to get on with it and have no clear guidance on what to complete and how to progress.
You will begin with a live course induction with your Mentor to take you through the learning resources and course timetable, so you can devise a study plan to remain on track.
You will then be offered regular catch up time with your Mentor to chart your progress, have your questions answered and prepare for upcoming assessments.
Quality learning materials
All learners will receive quality course manuals produced by our awarding body, Active IQ. We offer learners the choice of either an e-manual that can be accessed on any IT device, or a hard copy of the manual where notes can be jotted down and pages folded, to ensure knowledge is absorbed and fully understood.
All learners will also gain access to our awesome online learning portal to review course videos, downloads, and links to various learning resources including interactive games and YouTube videos.
