Eligibility Criteria
Embarking on this journey with YOUR Academy requires meeting specific criteria to ensure your success and readiness for the fitness industry
Upon sign-up
Demonstrate motivation to become a self-employed PT
Be able willing to start your PT course within the next 1-3 months
Be prepared to commit to 10-15 hours of home learning per week
Have, or be willing to get, a DBS certificate
DURING YOUR COURSE
Attend 7 face-to-face contact days at one of YOUR Academy venues across the UK
Attend weekly catch-up calls on MS Teams
Successfully complete all theory exams, practical assessment and paperwork tasks within 12 months
Have strong communication and practical/technique skills
ONCE QUALIFIED
Pass a YOUR PT interview at your preferred gym
Work as a self-employed for YOUR Personal Training
Complete the Advanced PT business course (free of charge)
